Sask Vacation - Rugby - The Oozinator.....?
Jun. 26th, 2006 | 07:05 pm
Hello hello! So much to talk about...but where to start...hmmmmm
I guess first.....Andrew and I went down to visit my parents in Smiley, Sask for a week. Headed down there on the 15th and stayed until the 25th.....minus a few days where we headed up to Edmonton, Alberta for some rugby! It was a pretty blah-zay week, but it was relaxing to say the least. Headed into Kindersley a couple times...and it turns out that all the girls that saw Andrew...that also happen to know my sister,....say that he was a hottie. Not that I didn't know that already tho :P. We also went and saw the 3rd X-Men movie..which turned out to be a lot better than I had thought it was going to be. Andrew and I spent quite a bit of time up at the Smiley ball diamond kickin around a rugby ball...he's my person coach...and I actually am getting pretty good at kicking and passing now. YAY! What else did we do...hmmm...Watched some of the World Cup..I don't know about some of you....but I'm cheering for Brazil. Yeah can't really think of much else...so moving on.....
The Churchill Cup in Edmonton. That was fun. Got to see six teams play - England Saxons, Ireland A, Scotland A, New Zealand Maori, Canada and the USA. The first game that we saw was England vs Ireland at noon on the 17th. That game was pretty slow I must say...it seemed that someone was injured about every five minutes. A fight also broke out...kinda. Number 13 on the England team slapped one of the Irish players. All I really remember of the whole thing was one of the guys sitting in front of me shouting out "WAY TO HIT LIKE A MAN 13!!!!" and "SLAP HIM AGAIN 13!" was interesting to say the least. The final score in that consolation final was 30 - 27 for Ireland. Go Ireland. lol
The next game, at 2:30, was the Final for the Churchill Cup - Scotland vs. New Zealand. This game was awesome. I love both of the teams...so I was happy with whoever won...although I was cheering for Scotland, along with Andrew, who is from Scotland for those of you who don't know. At one point, I heard bagpipes....and turned around to see a Scotland fan playing some bagpipes for the crowd. It was awesome...I wish I could play bagpipes..someday.......someday. ANYWAYS....on the other side of me there was this NZ fan waving a flag and yelling a lot...I'd say he was pretty plastered. At one point the bagpipe guy was playing, so the flag dude ended up walking over to the bagpipe guy and dancing with his flag....you can see that in my pictures I posted of this game. Later on in the game, Andrew poionted across the staduim at something....I wasn't sure what he was pointing at at first....but as I looked a second time, it appeared that the flag guy was on the other side of the stadium waving his flag around. That dude totally made my day. The New Zealand Maori won the Churchill Cup with a score of 57 - 17.
And the last game we saw was Canada vs USA. There was a small section in the crowd that was cheering for the USA....but, like most of the crowd, I was cheering for Canada. Not toooo much happened in this game...although the entire crowd did get shit becuase most of the people would Boo the USA when they had chances to convert some points and were kicking. Canada won 33-18. Go Canada! lol
Check out my pics!! (Don't forget the Mascot 7's pics)
OKAY....last but not least...The Oozinator. This toy is possibly the most disturbing toy I have ever seen in my entire life. lol If you don't know what I'm talking about please go here ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdAlt4Mg nHC ..or search for The Oozinator.... before reading on. I'm not sure what the people were thinking when they made this questionable super soaker....but either they are very sexually deprived, or horny as hell. I decided that any parent that actually buys this for their kid has some explaining to do. Not only is it sexually suggestive, but the fact that it's aimed at kids, who shouldn't really know why this toy is so....questionable...disturbes me a little. I laughed my ass off at this the first time I saw it, but laughed even more when I saw one young boy laughing and rubbing himself in this white goo that was sprayed all over him..........maybe some sick person likes the idea of squriting white goo all over children....I don't know.....but wow....honestly.....what were you people thinking? For god sakes, this does not belong in the hands of children...I want one..lol but only to freak out some people at parties. I'm old enough to understand why this is a bit...disturbing. We all know how super soakers work......you pump them up to build pressure..and then it shoots water out the end. Well this is a whole new level of fun....Pump it up and out squirts some white goo.....ickyness. Anyways, just watch the video....I for one found it hilarious and disturbing.....
Anyways, thats all for now.....talk to ya'll later.

WEEEELLLLL Just because I'm SO amazing..it took me 6 months to figure out what my new years resolution was gonna be. I think it's a pretty good one tho. lol Wanna hear it..of course you do.....drum roll please. I am going to try something new every single day..whether it be food, music, a different place, different walking route, meeting someone new...etc. Yep..I thought it was pretty decent! ANYWAYS....here's some of the things that I have tried so far this year.....:
1. Irn-Bru A scottish drink...its a soda..and its amazing. lol
2. A whole shit load of new music...someday I'll make a new list and post it in my music thinger.
3. Brandon, Manitoba. It's very interesting.
4. I've met a bunch of new people as well!
5. Asian food....such as butter chicken (India) and lemon chicken!
6. Working as a telemarketer...hey even if it was only for 4.5 hours it was still something I never thought I'd do.
7. Watched many new movies :D
8. Discovered I really enjoyed watching Viva la Bam, Wild Boys ad Jackass
9. Dessert Pizza..lol
10. Feta Cheese....that was actyally better than I thought.
Yeah I can't really think of anything else at the moment, but keep reading..cuz at the end of every week I'll post a list of things that I tried..lol yep..should be fun.
